一般社団法人 日本サンマリノ友好協会（JSFS）は、日本の外交評論家であり、作家でもある加瀬英明先生が発起人となって2001年に結成されました。 加瀬英明先生は、サンマリノ共和国を訪問後、世界で一番古い共和国であるサンマリノと世界で一番古い君主国である日本の友好のために、駐日サンマリノ共和国大使館と連絡を取り、当協会を結成しました。
当協会はサンマリノ政府公認の非営利組織として、日本とサンマリノ共和国の友好の増進と、経済産業・文化の交流・親善に寄与することを目的にさまざまな活動を行っています。
2011年には東日本大震災で犠牲になられた人々を追悼する目的で募金活動を開始し、2014年にサンマリノ神社を建立しました。2021年には戦争の悲惨さ、平和の尊さを伝える目的で募金活動を開始し、世界平和の鐘の設置を予定しております。
Japan San Marino Friendship Society (JSFS) was founded in 2001 by Prof. Hideaki Kase, Japanese diplomatic critic, writer and director. After visiting the Republic of San Marino, Prof. Kase found JSFS to build bridges of friendship of the oldest republic in the world and of the oldest imperial dynasty in the world cooperated with Embassy of the Republic of San Marino in Japan.
JSFS establish, promote and foster a spirit of friendship between citizens of Japan and those of San Marino through cultural exchanges and participation in meaningful projects that benefit both countries as a non-profit organization.
JSFS launched a fund-raising campaign for the construction of San Marino Jinja to commemorate victims of the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011, and for the installation of the World Peace Bell to appeal the misery of war and the value of peace in 2021.
